How To Begin Preparing Your Trip
Choose Your Goal
Once you’ve organised your crew of tailgaters, it’s time to choose your original destination. Here are some propositions on how to do it. Resolve who will take care of which tailgating preparation and cleaning tasks early for efficiency. Designate one person preparing duty, one to table setup, another to cleanup and one to bundling up before the game starts. Revolve responsibilities each activity so no one feels entrapped or bitter with their assigned job.
Create a Game Plan. Would you like to start on one coast and make your way over to the opposite one? Go North to South?
Settle How Many Activities to See Each Year. Walker and his acquaintances settled to aim for at least one travel game (by air or a long drive) and one or two closer games.
Check the Agenda. Once you know how many games you plan to attend, see the game schedule against everyone elses. Youll come up with a shortlist of games that are contenders for the coming season and your travelling tailgate party
Be Democratic. As always, the optimal way to select your destination is by majority voting. If there’s one place you would enjoy to go in particular, lobby your case before the voting. But once the votes have been cast, remember — majority rules.
