Working with Charitable Foundations, Alex Crisses Aids in Raising Funds that Help Foundations to Provide Quality Resources
Alex Crisses, with a strong academic background in Economics, now works to aid clientele through his role at IVP. He and his colleagues there center on helping entrepreneurial corporations by helping them better use their resources. When not working, Alex Crisses devotes time to charities, including “Minds Matter”, which helps disadvantaged high school students. Minds Matter’s goal is to make a difference in students’ lives and to be a force for positive change.
When not devoting his energies to his professional responsibilities in the corporate world, Alex Crisses IVP works to advance the aims of a unique foundation. This is the not-for-profit Minds Matter institution. This entity’s mission is to transform the lives of accomplished high school students from low-income families. Their focal point is helping these students prepare for college success and helping them attain their ambitions.
In his charity work, Alex Crisses applies this same approach. He comprehends that not-for-profit entities such as Minds Matter require two kinds of resources to remain viable. The first is the financial resources to implement programs to help others. The second is time commitments from people to help them attain these financial resources.
Working with Minds Matter, Alex Crisses and others are furthering the institution’s numerous goals. One short-term goal is to revitalize the alumni program to ensure that Minds Matter students not only enroll in college, but also successfully complete their undergraduate studies. One of Minds Matter’s long-term goals is guaranteeing that every Minds Matter student receives the funding necessary to attend the college of his/her choice.
Alex Crisses sees the challenges facing charitable organizations, especially during economic downturns. He also sees the unique challenges that entrepreneurial businesses faces as they strive to attain market position. Therefore, Alex Crisses IVP uses his academic education and broad work experience to assist his professional and charitable work. His goal is to contribute effectively to the work of each organization to help them attain their objectives.
